It’s setting up season two. Eventually the audience will ask “how is she keeping this whole ordeal out of the way of the Jedi Council?”
My head canon - she is not or not making much of an effort, the corruption & normalised shitty practices of then order makes this barely register, as long as the publics and/or senates sentiment doesn’t change too much & affects their comfy status quo.
I really didn’t like this show outside of the fight choreography. That was done surprisingly well. The makeup, especially on her, was not great. Felt like 1990s Star Trek TV.
When a long term Star Wars fan (me) and a short term Star Wars fan (wife) both find the show mediocre then it doesn’t reflect well. Wake me up when Andor season 2 is out.
