I want to be able to add music to my phone that is from my Mac, and also download music to my phones “library”from Apple Music Subscription (not iTunes).
When I try to add music from Apple Music it says I have to enable sync. When I do, the music on my Mac that does not exist on Apple Music (or in iTunes) is not able to be put on my phone.
I would LOVE for you to demonstrate this with tested, and reproducible steps.
I haven’t tried for a while but I’m pretty sure you can store your own music files on all Apple devices and listen to them via Apple Music.
Not while allowing Apple Music (subscription) to manage your phone library
I definitely have tracks that belong to me, that don’t even exist on Apple Music, on my phone with an Apple Music subscription.
This is false. Why even answer when you’re demonstrably wrong?
Prove me wrong.

You’re welcome
It’s says I can’t do it with cloud music library. But thanks for being wrong.
