I’m doing this new thing where I try to like things. Movies, TV shows, games, etc. I don’t always succeed and some things are very hard to like. But the alternative just leads to poisoned expectations and the death of joy.

I used to work with a guy who was religious about backing up his files to an external drives. Until someone broke into his house and stole his computer AND his external drives. He lost everything.

Capable? Yes. Willing? No.
