Just the other day my brother came over and we played OG Bubble Bobble. Two guys over 40 sinking a few hours into an adorable little co-op game. We got to the final boss and called it a night.
I picked it back up the next day, eventually beat that boss and texted my brother to let him know we beat the game.
If I recall, Dark Cloud surprised me. I think I got it on a whim for cheap and ended up sinking quite a bit of time into it.
I was able to get the first free days in tonight.
Is it normal to just run out of doors long before you run out of footsteps, or am I just really bad at layout design?
Already solved a few early puzzles and I’m hitting down what I hope are clues as I find them.
It’s the only racing game I’ve ever been good at. 🤷🏻♂️
Good news, Ferb! I know what we’re going to do this weekend! I don’t know much of anything about this one, which is usually best, but I’ve heard the name mentioned many times, and your “review” just convinced me to give it a shot.
I don’t get much time to play, but being able to try out gems I otherwise wouldn’t have spent money on really makes Gamepass worth while for me.
I’ll have to try this out! I have both wired and wireless controllers, but I avoid using the wireless because of the delay.
I find this post interesting. Are you asking because you’re curious about statistical information like “you played this game 28 hours more than that game” or just so you remember if you liked a game or not?
I understand the first one, but I can’t even comprehend the second. As soon as I see a screenshot from a game, my brain goes back to playing it and the general emotions it triggers. I might not remember the details about the game, but I’ll remember if it was fun, frustrating, boring etc. So I think it’s really strange that someone could completely forget playing a game.
I don’t mean any offense or anything. I know I’m some kind of neurodivergent, and I find the differences in how we each think very interesting.
You know that part where you take the secret portal in the bar to another dimension? How do you get past that? I have up on the game because I was just getting slaughtered.

I think they’re saying if you fire up some old NES games without the manual, you’ll only learn from trial and error, and it’s going to be hard as hell. (Even with the manual, they were not as forgiving back then)
Hence, people designing challenging games without instructions thinking THAT’S what the old timers must like!

Whenever someone asks if a game should be remade, I always say no. I’d rather get a new game!
That being said, I spent the entire weekend playing Oblivion.

This is coming from someone who really couldn’t afford one right now. We wait until we can or the price goes down (oh wait. Nintendo doesn’t do that )

I remember trying to convince my mom that $200 for an SNES is significantly less expensive in the long run than quarters at the arcade. 😂
