Half agree. Even if many of them are just money-hungry, there is still a ton of non-fiscal value in making it clear that queerness is not a shameful anomaly and can instead be a point of both strength and pride. Lots of kids out there are stuck in families that want them to believe the exact opposite, when they genuinely need to know that the world has more to offer than just that.

I don’t appreciate companies trying to capitalize on this, but as a friend and sibling to many queer folk (and as well as being a bit fruity myself, even if not fully this or that), I think this visibility is currently very necessary and possibly even life saving for some severely stuck folks. Even if the motivation is obviously crook, I can get behind giving those people the inspiration they need to accept and understand themselves in spite of those who would rather see them hating themselves or worse.

It is worth noting that BNW is more difficult than the original, as enemies were rebalanced in order to match the new synergies available to the player. So, if you don’t mind a challenge, then it’s a great way to dive into this title!

If you ever get the urge to replay FF6, the best version (by far) is the fan hack called Brave New World. It removes countless glitches and bugs while also enhancing the level-up, combat, and magic systems, as well as provides a far deeper and more thoughtful quasi-class system (each character has branching ‘classes’ based on which equips/magicites you allow them, providing much better thought out synergies than the original).

As someone who has loved this game for 20+ years now, BNW is very easily the greatest version out there. Def give it a try if you want to see this game re-raised to its fullest potential!

Agreed on the rest though. They are not comparable. My true point was that human is human. They are all human in different ways and to deny that just because some of them aren’t fully human reminds me of blockhead ideas about race and race mixing. Saiyans and androids are on another level altogether though and that’s hard to deny.

I’d say that going Super saiyan is definitely cheating. Having the ability, not so much.

And jsyk, according to Toriyama, Pan is supposed to have around the same potential as Gohan, if not even greater, but with Goku’s instincts and tenacity. This means that, except for maybe a fully trained Broly, she has the potential to be the strongest saiyan in the series, so of all the mixed species characters you could pick, she might be the worst possible example lol. It’s more word of God than it is hard canon since Tori never got around to showing us her as an adult, but still.

I think Krillin would whoop base Goten 1v1 tho tbh. Obviously not with raw power, but K-man has decades of experience on the lad and, as far as saiyans go, he seems to be leagues behind everyone else in battle iq/interest in improving.

Maybe. I’m pretty sure Tien mopped the floor with him in DB, but that was a long time ago. I don’t think either of them have enough feats in Super to definitively say who would win, but Tien is consistantly more dedicated to training and has an even trickier arsenal of techniques, so I’d put my money that ways.

And being half human is still being human. That’s genetic diversity, which is not cheating.

If you count Gohan, Trunks, 17, 18, and Tien as humans, which they all are to some degree, he’s def not the strongest of his species. He is way up there though, and 7th place isn’t even close, but special K is for sure not the strongest.

Of the cast, I only disliked one of them and it had nothing to do with his performance. Yasim as Ford was such a good surprise choice and Rockwell was absolutely born to play Zaphod. The cast was stellar imo, but the project (mos) def had other issues…

I once accidentally spilled used grounds into a pork pot roast and it was fucking delicious. I was wired all night so I wouldn’t make it a regular dish, but it’s a great mix for sure
