No, someone took an existing painting and modified it with copy/paste to show two middle fingers. Which is also ironic, given the message they’re trying to send.

It’s nice to say no, but across history there have been so so many societies that have allowed exactly that at similar scales.
With 3 million in an account you’re already making over 100k/year out of interest. With 100 million you never have to care about money even if you live in lavish luxury. 1bil is absolutely ridiculous.
I do agree with separating the artist from the art, but I also understand choosing to not support people whose values you disagree with. Because your money will end up being used to support those values.
So yes, I won’t say that I don’t like certain songs/books/paintings/etc. because of the artist, but I can refuse to pay for them or other related merchandise.
Not that impressive on carpet
Looks like any of hundreds of movies from that time. It’s been literal decades since I saw it, I was probably the same age my daughter is now. Once I read the reference I realized that I do recognize T1000, but I definitely don’t remember that kid.
My most secure password is a full phrase of over 40 characters, plus punctuation.
Speedrunning is not just about beating the world record. A lot of people speedrun games for their own enjoyment and only competing against their own PBs. I’ve spent time getting sub 10m in Getting Over It and never considered going for the WR. And there’s a whole community doing the same, setting their own goals.
TAS runs are an academic exercise. A person doing pixel perfect moves in fractions of a second several times in a row is peak gaming.
Romania too, but definitely better than a hamburger. It’s more like a sausage.
The sun and moon are tiny and relatively close. They rotate in circles above the surface at a constant distance (don’t ask why). From what I know they spend a lot more time “disproving” existing theories than finding new ones to explain their model.
It’s definitely one of the theories I’ve seen. Checking on The Flat Earth Society website I see it’s not their official position (but they acknowledge some groups do believe that). They don’t have a different theory though, just that “objects simply fall”.
The flat earth is constantly accelerating “upwards”, which is what creates the equivalent of sane people gravity. So it’s not really falling over the edge as the Earth leaving you behind.
This article gives a good view from an average user’s perspective.
The platform is decentralized and has community ran servers.
For most people that’s a complication, not a bonus.
Nobody is giving kids alcohol
When I was a kid I always asked for a taste when my parents had a drink with the meal. It was just a sip and I never liked it and it burned (it was usually a hard spirit), but I still asked every time.
When my wife was 5 she was being sent to the still to do a taste check and see if the brandy is strong enough yet.
They said “the ones I have”, as in multiple. So I was wondering if all of them connect to everything, or each connect to some. That’s because I went on the 8bitdo website and I looked at several categories. The Xbox ones listed only various Xbox models under connectivity, the Bluetooth ones only listed Switch, the 2.4G and wired ones only listed Windows and Android.
The ones I have work on switch, Xbox, pc, android, iOS, etc.
Is there a single controller that I can use on switch, Xbox and pc?
I like that getting rid of glasses today is rejection of technology, while in Asimov’s Caves of Steel, wearing glasses was rejection of technology.
