Exactly. Which means peaks and valleys in sound. That excavator and compactor get shut off when they’re not in use.

So at the end of a 12 hour shift…. They sit at a constant rev all day so the oils and hydraulics don’t get cold and stiff, it’s also terrible for seals to be constantly dried out from starts and stops.

You’re being disingenuous about the actual severity and longevity of construction projects and equipment.

Or we’re misunderstanding each other and talking about two different types of construction (residential vs commercial) 😁

Well you said that a leaf blower is this god awful tool that’s used all day when it’s used for a fraction of the time as this construction equipment. Maybe 30 minutes, so if construction has peaks and valleys, wouldn’t also running a leaf blower…? They need breaks they can’t run 24/7 either… it’s fine for you to claim it, but when it’s my side it’s not? Fuck off.

That’s why you’re being disingenuous. The one you are saying is used all day, while in fact it’s used intermittently for like 30 minutes. While an active properly managed construction site will be constant noise from start to finish.

Leaf blowers are a continuous solid line of noise.

So what’s your point then? Or are you done moving goal posts and being disingenuous now…?
