I’ve seen some talented people suddenly looking for work on LinkedIn - anyone know how bad the damage was?

The number of people is less an issue than the reasoning, and what areas they’re cutting etc. The smaller nature of Lemmy means people are less likely to write flippant dismissals as part of a rabid pack. Or at least it was.

Typically when there are layoffs, there are still people employed there who know what’s going on.
The number of people is less an issue than the reasoning, and what areas they’re cutting etc.
