I know lots of people love Dave, but, personally, I would love for him and certain execs at Lucasfilm/Disney to step away from Star Wars and let new people with new ideas step in and do something refreshing, fun, and different.
An R-rated Star Wars movie means nothing. What’s the plot? Who are the characters? If we’re getting the same mediocre (or just bad) stories but with more language, violence, and/or sex, then no thank you.
New leadership is certainly welcomed, but if they (or whoever) scraped up the ideas from what would have been Star Wars 1313, the idea of an R-rated film might work.

They’re going to show it, show all of it. Because what’s the one major thing missing from all Star Wars movies these days? Full penetration.
That would certainly make some fans happy… 😂😂
C3P0 is going to hang dong.
You don’t say…
R2D2 activates a secret vibration mode.
Star Wars desperately needs writers and directors that can do more than fan service.
That’s what TLJ and the Acolyte are doing and they’re getting tantrums over it
They are?
Filoni & Favreau have Mando/Ahsoka and the related era.
Andor is Tony Gilroy (newish, new with Rogue One), and Andor is a new approach.
Obi-wan Kenobi was someone new, but an old concept.
Acolyte is someone new, but with a new concept.
I’m not sure the plan with the Rey films, but that is likely someone new. (Although I expect a traditional concept.
I’m happy to have some execs move aside, but I think we’ve got new folks coming in.
