If things look so bad maybe go for one at 7:25 and other at 7:30 and get that extra time. More alarms means more pain.

      7:20 and 7:30

5 minutes is murder, 10 feels so much better!

10 minutes let’s my mind kind of wrap shit up and makes the next alarm hurt less.

If I’m very tired 10 minutes will let me start sleeping again, and 10 minutes later I’ll be in the same situation. Ideally I wouldn’t want to use the second alarm, but I don’t want to get rid the last chance reminder.

On a normal day I have the wake up alarm, and about 30 mins later the “out the door” reminder.

Do like I do, get an old-school cheap shit alarm from a pawn shop or thrift store. You know, one of the older dumb clocks, where it’s only job was to count time, beep beep an alarm really loud, and if you got the good fancy one, it might wake you up to your local radio station.

And then… set it on max volume, beep beep mode, on the other side of the room. I bet you’ll wake your ass up then. Always worked for me 🕖

You can actually still buy analog alarm clocks. Those things ring LOUD. You have to remember to wind them though.

Well, you have to flip a switch on it to enable the alarm every night anyway (or the last one I had you did), so it’s not too bad to wind it up at the same time as you turn it on before bed. But yeah that’s definitely a potential challenge
