I don’t have room for it but I do want one
I admit that I do love well designed stuff. It’s like touching materialized good thoughts and intentions.
But I don’t have room for a cargo bike even if I could afford one. Classic acoustic bike for me.
Love his channel. I don’t even mountain bike, but have been binge watching him lately. Last one I watched he went on a rant to his European viewers about how imperial measurement was better for carpentry when building bike paths because it was base 12 for about 30 seconds then stone cold goes “Not really it’s shit” the speed cut to next scene.
He’s a former web developer who got to live his dream, good on him.
boujiest
I know this is one of those “grandpa doesn’t like it when they make up new words” scenarios, but you can just say “most bourgeois”.
Seems like it’s an accepted alternative to Bougiest
Looking forward to cargo bikes being more in demand and prices coming down. There’s no way they should cost £4-5k. Decathlon make a longtail for £2.5k which is much more reasonable
Isn’t decathlon quality nowhere near reputable brands and don’t they have only the cheapest components in their bikes? They should be fine for infrequent use, but are not as reliable and thus could cost more in the end. \
Edit: I gathered this info last time I was looking for a bike.
I wouldn’t say so, they use the same parts as everyone else. My bike has full Shimano 105 for £200 less than any other manufacturer. Frame and fork are solid etc, no issues at all in 4 years.
So much for so little. Holy cow.
I can confirm from personal experience: it is a very nice bike. I don’t need it though, as I have no kids.
I added a front basket to my commuter and I thought I could carry anything
