    To elaborate: As @PunnyName@lemmy.world said, Joan of Arc was famously burned at the stake.

    So much so that someone might have cashed in on the story, in the manner of poor taste, to sell “Joan of Arc” branded marshmallows for toasting on an open fire.

    Marshmallows in their currently recognizable form are also an anachronism.
