I think the joke is supposed to be that the gray lumpy figure is a female and yellow spiky figure is horny for her? I’m not sure, I can’t get past those cracked out facial expressions.
I struggled through the font and weird format but never found a joke. It feels like the point is that sometimes developers just want to write code, whether it’s necessary or not. Perhaps OP (who seems to be the author) will weigh in
Junior dev saw it as “we can do it ourselves” until they were reminded that time is limited and we have to choose what we do with it. Then they almost seemed to have a transformation/realization in that moment, but the unexpected twist was that they were still trying to take both paths, instead of picking one, which we all know means they won’t get the best of either. Or maybe they’re just coyly accepting the other path while trying to keep up the original appearance.
You’ll see a movie instead of working. How does that make sense in a story around work? Also that font is super difficult to read.
