That was very abrupt… We finally spend 10 minutes with Muse and before we know it, he’s dead. The way the storyline ended also felt rushed. So the police and Matt instantly identified from scribbly warbly paintings that it was Heather? Out of the millions of women in NYC? I’m kinda disappointed.

Also the whole “mentally ill psychopath obsessed with his therapist and tries killing her” thing is way too close to Bullseye in season 3. It wouldn’t have bothered me as much if it weren’t from the season right before this.

Still a good episode, but man, this show has pacing issues. I was hoping it’d be as good as the Netflix one.

I’m surprised how quickly the Muse storyline seems to have wrapped up.

Also Vanessa betraying Fisk, but he seems to know about it and not care. I feel like a conversation between them could clear things up without the killing, but maybe that’s just how villains say <3.

      Vanessa betraying Fisk

I didn’t think it was a betrayal, but a setup because that guy was rocking the boat and causing problems for both of them. Fisk seemed to be expecting it and deliberately presenting himself as vulnerable, with his back to the door.

Also, that restaurant reminded me of a similar scene from The Godfather where Michael kills the guy at the restaurant.

how quickly the Muse storyline seems to have wrapped up.

It seems like they’re doing these quick two episode arcs (plus filler episodes), with the underlying themes continuing through the whole story. It’s very similar to Andor in that regard. I think the days of a big baddie for the whole 10 or 12 episode season are over. I think 2 episodes may have been a bit short for Muse, but didn’t feel too rushed. The White Tiger storyline was great in the 2 episode runtime, with that tragic ending.
