There are some really bitter people on Lemmy. That’s why there are so many downvotes everywhere. Some people just need to go outside and touch grass… Which is a form of traveling.
Certain people joined Lemmy just as a better alternative to Reddit, but it seems like they’re just leaving one toxic social media for the sake of another. Well at least there are no hierarchies (not talking about .ml rn), billionaire ceos, and algorithm, which is the most important, so i guess the toxicity problem is up for us the users to solve, even if such people will always exist
