The movie is already on digital, and it was just released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD today.

And they keep ruining it by having Red Hulk in the poster 🙄

Seriously. The whole movie is supposed to be “aw man what’s that guy doing to the president?” but we already know Red Hulk is coming so you spend the whole movie being like “where’s Hulk?”

Thunderbolts was smart to not reveal

The Red Hulk early reveal is fine… if it had happened at the halfway in the film. You’re absolutely right everyone goes “Where is Hulk?” and that’s especially true when halfway through the movie he hasn’t shown up.

The final team up villain should have been Sterns, or a lackey of his, or Sidewinder.

We essentially got a 2 act film, the long winding act 1 conspiracy, then Red Hulk the end act 2.

The Thunderbolts was good even before the reveal. As someone who knew that spoiler (didn’t even realize it was a spoiler), I was in no rush to get there. Plus the reveal is “worth it”. Neither was true for Red Hulk in BNW.

I had high hopes for this but it seemed to be all wasted.

It had moments of “oh look, this is like Winter Soldier” but then that faded

It had moments of “let’s hit upon some of the racial tension involved in taking on the role as cap” and then that faded.

Bucky’s cameo was the most “cram him in there somewhere” cameo I’ve seen in a long time.

It felt like a movie that got stitched together by a board of executives.

I didn’t hate it like I did Love and Thunder. But it and L&T have the most wasted potential maybe out of all the Marvel movies.

    It’ll be a good D+ movie though.

L&T was aggressively shit, like a child made it. This was just a nothing down the middle plain skippable film

L&T had a lot of higher highs. A lot of the scenes with Gorr were legitimately great. The deleted scene with Zeus was so much better than what made it into the movie.

The lows were just so much lower. And it’s kind of worse for me that there’s such good scenes in a structurally solid movie, that’s completely undercut by screaming goats, jealous hammer, and orgy not-really-even-jokes. They could legitimately put 10-20 mil into it and make it a great movie if they wanted.

BNW is fun, the big fight is interesting, but they clearly had no offramp for it. They had no vision with how to use the leader or red hulk. The whole thing is so disjointed, I don’t even know how it could be made good. It just sucks that they ruined a couple characters.

Gorr scenes were cool, but the concept was off. He didn’t do much and Eternity could have given Thor everything if he had asked to rewind life back a few months or however long.

The lows were abysmal but even the look was bad, Thor looked like a cartoon.

BNW was a bit boring, meandering but its sin was just how nothing it was. I cant remember anything other than Ross and Cap. The movie acted like the reveal wasnt in the trailers which was a bit of a balls, it probbaly would have done better without that.

First of all, fuck The Critical Drinker, and other racist grifter YouTube celebrities.

The movie was competent. Just that. It wasn’t bad, wasn’t great, but competently not a waste of time and money.

Mackie is a real talent. I look forward to more from him.

Edit: Also, Snyder is a hack who should be a cinematographer.
