I start with a couple: knitting and crocheting. They are two of the two most useful things I’ve learned so far, all thanks to my grandmother and one of my aunts. Creating bags to carry things, repairing pants, jackets and backpacks, creating little cushions for my lower back or to support my wrist when I’m in the office, etc.

I still remember with some humor how my grandmother insisted to me that, as a man, I should not be ashamed of knowing how to crochet.

Oddly enough, my sister is the one who doesn’t know how to do either those things lol

    • all diets are an attempt to monetize something so fundamentally simple that there is no way to profit except through scams
    • cooking multiple meals a day is an invention of consumerism to sell prepackaged industrial foods that are terrible for health
    • everything worth eating is on the outer walls of any American style grocery store
    • anonymity is the true test of one’s moral character
    • it is not a work space until it has a trash can
    • it is a static display and not an organization system until it has a place for both miscellaneous unsorted items and a place for things one does not have the time to adequately sort
    • the secret to working quickly is access to as many things as possibly most useful within arm’s reach
    • taking all junk things apart for their spare screws and hardware is priceless as your spare hardware collection is for life as are your hand tools
