can someone explain my why the “good guys” made what’s likely the most unethical army in fiction?

how is a clone army a thing? that’s practically like breeding brainwashed slaves for war.

It was wildly unethical and the Jedi weren’t particularly happy with the clone army being created, but the republic was happy with an army that didn’t have “real” people dying…

The Jedi instituted some changes for better treatment of the clones, such as giving them actual names, but it wasn’t much more than surface level fixes

Palpatine and Dooku commissioned the clone army in secret, then revealed it as a solution to the robot army attacks, which they also funded. The Jedi/Republic accept the help begrudgingly. Unfortunately, I rewatched ep 1-3 recently.

          unfortunately?

they are fun. they have their fair share of potholes, but no one dare complain they aren’t fun and an amazing experience to watch.

there are so fucking iconic, no wonder half the script was turned to memes.
