Sure, but landlords make their money unethically. Drawing lesbian furries is honest work

I’ll sail the high seas
Wow a dedicated line is serious commitment. But yeah ultimately when you’re connecting to servers on the other side of the world there’s not a lot you can do.
I gave up sim racing online after a crash and seeing the other players replay of the crash. I didn’t think I was at fault but because of the lag, I totally was.
My ping from Australia to Europe was just too much in order to ensure others could have a safe race. When everyone else has 20-40 ping and I’m racing with 150+ it’s just too much lag to be safe on the track
Except self checkout isn’t faster. The professionals that check you out do this every day, they’re way faster than me.
Not to mention 100% of the time I use self checkout, the machine doesn’t realize I’ve put something in the bagging area and I need a staff member to sort out the broken machine, but because there’s 1 staff member doing this for a dozen machines, they’re constantly busy sorting out these broken machines so you often have to wait minutes for them to fix it.
It’s more like a detached room in the back yard, like a small granny flat. I’ve been using it as a workshop but I don’t use it nearly enough to justify so repurposing it to be an art studio for my wife, as well as a VR space for me that i can have my racing sim rig setup. Also planning on building a VR pinball cabinet.
I’m building a dedicated windows VR gaming PC that can live in my shed so I don’t have to dual boot windows to use my racing sim.
Yes Linux and proton have come a long way, and for the most part is more than good enough. But for certain things (like my HP Reverb G2, or proprietary sim racing hardware drivers) it’s just easier to pirate windows
Yeah it was portal! Good guess
$1,100 over 15 years. I’m not a gamer, and I’m well aware I don’t own these games, so I’m glad it’s low
In the geoguessr community, Germany is commonly referred to as “Blurmany” because so many buildings are blurred
Gran Turismo - the first one
Incredibly impressed with that sear considering the middle didn’t get above room temperature
Here I am on my zenphone 10 wishing it was a little smaller
I think blind allegiance to family is a much more sad perspective
Family means nothing. Spend your time with people you love and who love you. Don’t spend time around nazi-apologists.
To me this seems like a no-brainer. Don’t go.
Why would you go to an assholes wedding? I’m currently planning a wedding and if I invited someone that didn’t like me, I’d honestly rather they not come.
So. I’m not sure why you think you’d be considered an asshole. You’re two different people that aren’t friends and don’t see eye to eye. Why would you go to his wedding?
What we do in the shadows. The show is based off the Taika Waititi/Jermaine Clement film of the same name. And is also written by Jermaine Clement
It’s a comedy/mocumentary about a group of vampires. The characters are really well written and it straddles the line between the banality of everyday life as a vampire, and obviously the weird supernatural aspects of vampires. It recently aired it’s final episode so you can binge it now and get through the whole thing.
If you like the office/community/parks and rec/I.T. Crowd type of stuff I think you’ll really like it
I have quite an extensive history of scraping web sites for various data over the years, I’d be happy to help you out but I can’t really know how to help without knowing what website your trying to scrape, different sites have their own challenges (maybe behind a login, or using JavaScript to load content - in which case a http response won’t give you what you’re after, or any number of things really).
If you give me a link to a book you want to download as an example I can take a look and help guide you through it
The phones with those features have been discontinued but they were never unpopular, they were just what phones were.
Nobody 10 years ago was saying “I wish I couldn’t replace my phone battery” or “I hate that I have the option to plug my wired IEMs into my phone”
People just do what people are good at. Adapting.
Manufacturers have taken these options away because it is profitable to do so. People have largely adapted to that (although I still refuse to buy a phone without a headphone jack)
How is it a programming language? It’s a markup language. There’s no logic, variables or any way to manipulate data.
