You’re not even willing to risk THAT to help fight against evil?
I don’t know why you chose the title you used. I would’ve upvoted this post but i couldn’t because of the title. Violence absolutely is the right course of action in certain circumstances. Violence should never be used first, but once all non-violent means have been tried and failed to correct a grave injustice, then violence becomes the appropriate action for any moral person.
If you do nothing while you watch a murderer kill an innocent person, then part of the guilt falls on your hands. As the saying goes “the only thing necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.”
Here’s the song I’ve been thinking about

I rightly celebrate when evil is destroyed. That ceo killed a huge number of innocent people just so he could make himself even ultra wealthier. That’s true evil. The shooter is an absolute hero.
In a better world the serial killer ceo would go to trial and be jailed for the rest of his life. But in the world we actually live in, the ceo would have faced zero consequences for his evil acts, and he would’ve continued living a life of ultra wealth while he continued murdering thousands more innocent people. So in lieu of legal consequences, shooting him is the most good thing that anyone could’ve done.
I think OP means there aren’t a lot of use-cases where a non-english language is helpful in communicating more than english is. Like if you learn swahili, there aren’t a lot of people around the world who speak that language, and you’re unlikely to run into any of them. Millions of people speak swahili, and I’m sure that it has wonderful elements (as all languages do), but there are way more english speakers, and english is spoken in many more places around the world
How dumb do you have to be to think that was a good idea?
That’s not a reasonable solution for laptops
A couple years? Hah! Once apple gives it 16 GB that’s gonna be the same amount they have for like 15 years
Aspirin is an NSAID

An ancient cheap small laptop would do it fine. Plex or Jellyfin software
Just to clarify, are you talking about preserving stuff that was already on the Internet, or are you talking about like paper cookbooks and other digital materials? Because for Internet materials archive.org backs up the entire web, including all the recipes.
What is a Mister device?
Huh?
