The point is that the fork has been traumatised and it transfers that trauma to your food by the magic of homeopathy or something.

Turns out the laws of physics and geometry are the same everywhere.
Notepad++ is also great for searching text strings in many documents and collating the results in a single window.
You need to find someone you trust. There’s no technology that can prevent someone disclosing data if it’s their job to work with that data.
If you treat people with respect and pay them well, you will be amazed at what they give back. Especially autistic people, they tend to have high personal integrity.
Makes sense from a financial point of view. I tend to do extensive research before a big purchase and wouldn’t want to be changing cars too often.
From an energy and pollution point of view it makes sense to buy quality and maintain the vehicle over a long time period.
It’s tricky at the moment because we are transitioning to electric powertrains and these vehicles are not comparable to internal combustion.
Interesting. I’ve been buying mine at 3 years and keeping them until they become uneconomic to repair. My current car is 11 and it’s still in great shape.
What is the logic behind selling at 7? Are you considering increasing efficiency of new models and average maintenance burden?
We have to be the thing we want to see out in the world. If we want open source communities and an internet free of corporate influence then we have to do the work required to build them. It’s not going to happen by magic.
Excuse me sir, do you have a licence and registration for that ice cream?

It’s easy to get obsessed by these details and forget the joy of cycling. I was riding in Amsterdam recently and looking around at the bikes these ardent cyclists are using every day is surprising. Very basic machines, many looked fifteen years old, at least. No one wears helmets or spandex pants. They just go about their business swiftly and silently on a vast network of dedicated paths. It was cycle heaven.
Also never underestimate American fragility.
Maybe we become more extreme in our existing beliefs. My political compass position drifted right from bottom left as I hit my thirties. After the Iraq invasion of 2003 and recessions following 2008 it swung back towards Ghandi. I became convinced that conservative politics isn’t working in my late forties and that has only been reinforced as I try to access the creaking UK healthcare system.
An extinct civilisation called Heetzah Putt, rumoured to be near the lost city of Atlantis.
They get sick pleasure from inflicting stupid fastener design on their users?
