I don’t know how much that is in normal degrees and I’m too lazy to check but I generally prefer cold. Heating up is much easier (if you’re privileged enough). You don’t have to shower every single day, you don’t need to drink as much. Its a bit of a hassle every time to go outside with all the extra clothes, my electric car is less efficient and opening windows to let fresh air in is unpleasant. But that’s a small price to pay.
Hot is just always shit.
AR is not dead but it will take much longer than expected to be as light and comfortable as a pair of sunglasses.
I’m hoping to see a lot of progress in display tech. We’ve already seen first transparent screens but there is still work to be done. I would love to let my monitors „disappear“ when not in use. Also flexible displays are maturing, this could get interesting.
Usually just Apple Maps but be careful when going to places outside of cities as it will choose weird paths through dirt roads that might not even be accessible by car, when there is a perfectly fine road parallel to it.
Try to kill some up-and-coming Hitler.
Or Basejumping.

That’s actually a huge problem and I don’t get why it is not talked about more. We all learn about validating links in emails and are very careful about clicking anything there. But QR codes we just scan and open without thinking.
Technology has continued to progress but I think many cable providers are capping at around 100 mbps. I could be wrong.
My cable internet provider offers up to 1000. I currently have 250. It is pretty unstable though that could just be the provider being shitty.
But I’m switching to fiber this month in my new apartment.
You can reduce animations and transparency, enhance contrast (though not every application supports it) and turn everything grayscale but you can’t change the overall style and layout of the OS.
Definitely. It was preschool time.
I ate shit.
As a kid I was at my friends house. Parents were not around. He, for a reason I don’t remember, took a shit in the living room and he was like “Look I took a shit on the floor!” and we had a laugh about it. And then, for a reason I don’t remember, he dared me to eat a piece of it. And I did. Not much to say about it, it was horrible. Maybe this is why my immune system is so good.
Ah ok, well those laws are there because of those people. Otherwise it would just be common sense. So yes, those should never be reversed.
I’m downvoting myself for my idiotic early-in-the-morning comment. I do know that. The exemption is 12k in Germany.
If you are under the minimum income for your location, you don’t pay taxes.
Then what if you start earning more, suddenly have to pay taxes and end up getting the same or even less than before?
Can you give examples of unnecessary rights?
Can I join your hill grave?
Interesting, I’ve never seen a tape measure like this. In the end it’s the same thing, just remove a zero and you have cm. That’s the magic of it.
But i understand now how you came to the conclusion that centi is not used that much.
I really hope the US will at some point adopt the objectively better metric system!
I know all the ways tofu can be used. But it is a great meat substitute as well and what is wrong with that? I don’t understand the hate against meat substitutes. Especially when it’s not one of those ultra processed foods, which tofu clearly isn’t.
Yes there are A LOT of great meals without any meat-like ingredients but sometimes it’s just a nice addition. I like to make vegan Paella with smoked tofu cubes for example or bolognese with crumbled tofu. It’s all a substitute.
