Why does that matter? If the fetus cannot survive outside the womb due to genetic defects, why would I care about that when I could care about the health of the mother?
He was just a Fledditor. Living in a Lemmy woooorld.

Random dude is being sarcastic unprompted about someone fighting for a personal freedom. He is an asshole and an immediate problem.
More like, Schrodinger’s kids. I genuinely hope you find peace and learn to not let being pro-birth justify letting others suffer and/or die. Red tape and bans kill when it comes to healthcare, without solving anything.
Yeah, it’s not cool to threaten someone’s genitals and remove their agency in what happens to them. Congratulations, you are currently standing on The Point.
Those two examples are wildly different from eachother. One is a medical procedure involving theoretical children, and the other has real kids getting injured and killed.
Edit: wanted to add that the medical procedure is always to prevent a major health issue when being funded by state taxes.
K. I’m going to get back to work for my company that is mass murdering children by lowering employee reproductive health. (/s)
Unsure is /s, but doesn’t seem like it.
Reproductive health advocates are not mass murdering children. You’re thinking of guns, drugs, and cars if you are in the USA, cancer and other genetic defects if in the UK.
Man. I remember both using the controller and seeing that add. One of those GameInformer magazines way back when it was still around.
Is there multiple editions, or just one run?
Edit: Looked it up. Amazon has it, but will check my local bookstore/comicstore first.
Pshhhh, noone here is going to argue with you. You’re wrong /s
Seriously though, sorry the internet is full of hatefull people. Thank you for what you have shared in the past. Some of us do benefit from hearing other people’s struggles, but just don’t comment as much. Negative engagement usually outweighs positive engagement on all social media platforms.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Ricky Rogatoni, you dispense the sage advice of a fool. As a self-identifying fool I always appreciate your input.
It’s almost like assholes can’t keep their mouths shut when people don’t talk about their needs. If only society created less of those, that’d be nice.
Ok, and to clarify, do you mean disgusting as in the opposite of attractive, or that you feel an internal wrongness when looking? I’m guessing it’s something way beyond either, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense to find others “insane” for liking the performance.
Not how I would try to pick up a date, but shoot your shot I guess.
To be fair, it was about the bigots too. I had to look up the song after a certain group blew up about it. It’s a lovely song about inclusivity and what it might take for us to stop fighting eachother.
Side note, do you have a link to the full video? I had to use a VPN to try and find it and got terrible quality.
Legitimately curious here, what did you find disgusting? The message of the song, the callback to classical art and religion, performers in costume, or something else?
Nuh-uh, not me. I stop long before they change their mind.
Its two bahd that. bothurs yew sew -much? Makes 4 ez trolling!
I’m saying that red tape and bans gets in the way of that happening for that specific scenario. By your morals, I hold the, “Let 100 guilty people go free before jailing one innocient” stance, also I’m not ok with the government being in charge of deciding when that is appropriate. Thank you for actually treating this like a discussion. I feel like it’s important to have.
