7·11 days agoSo, whatever Windows 11 does on my work laptop when I tell it to standby and it shuts off the screen but proceeds to spin the fans to 100% continuously?

Recently, it’s mainly with KSP and Cities:Skylines for planning stuff while I don’t have access to the game.

Windows philosophy is that it comes pre-installed and should be used with recent hardware. You may think of that what you will (environment wise etc), but to me that’s a valid design choice to make, in principle.
