Holding all judgement till reviews. 1+2 were awesome. 3 was a definite low point and then it explored new and exciting depths of the brightest dumpster fire with that abortion of a “movie”.

I can’t even get an account created because the website isn’t functional. Downloaded the app but it’s not doing me any good.

While that is preferable to the previous one, it’s still only showing 3 posts with tons of wasted space. This is putting an infosparse UI over an infodense application/platform and when you do that you lose functionality and make using the platform more tedious and time consuming. In a way it’s nice but it loses too much function to be appealing in this application. I could see that being an acceptable UI for another platform but not a link aggregator where the whole reason for existing is to gather a lot of information together.

I see this issue through so many newer UIs. Sure it looks nice in a way. But it looses all functionality. We have an info dense application, pairing that with a infosparse UI just causes frustration and excessive scrolling and clicking. Info density matters.

I missed the memo. I am just generally anti war and don’t like reading about them. War is all because of dickhead leaders that can’t act decent, treat others right, or talk things out without being little insecure manbabies. And when manchildren in power have their big boi pp insulted they make the less powerful fight for them instead of doing anything respectful. Some rebellions which lead to wars are justified. Gotta stick it back to the empowered manchildren sometimes. But it all comes down to a shitty leader.

Oof, damn that’s painful to leave behind. The downfall of yt to a completely unusable platform has been awful. Newpipe might let you play without the reminders on mobile if you are interested in trying another app before you make tye leap to a new platform. I’d bet there is a tool on github that will export your playlists too. Sorry, not trying to fix everything I promise. A 14 year active playlist is an impressive thing though and I’d hate to see that lost.
