Yeah, but the professional board is kinda like an HOA board. Should be more like a jury of all regular doctors or something.

Really what it should be is that if a doctor prescribes unnecessary care, they should go after the doctor, not the patient. Doctors have malpractice insurance. If the health insurance can’t win a case of malpractice, then they should pay the bill. Why are patients in the midfle here at all.

Yeah, I know all about it. I live near portland, we are generally very inclusive. My kid was explaining just some of the many categories to me the other day. It’s a lot for an old brain to adjust to. And I am terrible at remembering peoples names. I may never be able to keep the categories connected to the people. Lol.

Referring to someone as queer. When I grew up that was a major insult. You just didn’t use that word, like the n word. You used others like homosexual and such. But now it is mainstream and ok to use in the right way. But it still feels offensive in my head.

I’m going with I don’t advocate for violence, but I also won’t condemn this use of it. If I knew a better way to attempt to cause change, I would advocate for that. But it is hard to argue with the result. (Anthem reversal)

The reality is simple. Their are “bad guys” on both sides. The “good guys” are stuck between them. The degree to which one is badder than the other really shouldn’t matter. Anyone making a living prolonging conflict should just be removed from the gene pool. Ideally by locking large numbers of them in a room with very limited supplies, just enough to fight over.

Time to change that last name either way. It should perish.

Sure. Could happen. Imagine trump wins somehow. Then imagine he orders the military to help the Russians or even just orders some people round up like he promises. His disdain for our military is clear. Some generals will follow because he is the president. But others will refuse. And Trump is dumb enough to order his generals to arrest the other generals. Boom, civil war. Or if trump loses… his followers will look for someone else to follow. If someone actually competent shows up, similar path, just 4 years later.

I don’t have one in mind. That’s the issue. If I could think it, someone surely would have made it.

Yeah, but it still shows on the bill. My wife wouldn’t like the idea of “paying” for porn. Free is fine though. She is also a bit paranoid, so having my own card would make her uncomfortable.

I’d pay if there was a more discrete way of doing it. Overall, you should pay for the things you want. Or they will go away (well probably not porn). But like local businesses and such.

Bossy militias… we call those cops here in the US. As for Iraq, I think of the people I have met from there and that area. All good people. As for the government… I don’t know of a single government that I think positively of. Once you get enough people in one organization, it attracts the worst kind of people to join.

I totally agree. But also the media has the same interest in dividing the people. They get more viewers that way. But how does ending FPTP, which I assume is first past the post voting, going to solve that. I have heard some say it would help move caddies to the center some. But I am not convinced it would move them much in most states.

They will have lots of funds from all the savings on ads.
Anyway, I am starting to think random people secestered or something. Maybe it is only a couple of months at a time. They vote on some legislation, then work on new legislation for the next group to vote on.
