I bought a pre-build PC once, and it refused to boot. And you know what was missing? A fucking SATA data cable god have mercy. That’s some advanced assembling. I even had to go and buy one as I hadn’t a spare one at hand.

Although yeah I definitely had some screw ups with not inserting RAM sticks all the way or messing some other stuff like not connecting the video card to power supply.

If Windows is good enough for John Carmack it’s good enough for me. Tried Linux as my main driver for a couple years and there were nothing but hoops, problems and endless configurations to jump through. Why do I have to learn every goddamn thing about the operating system to use it properly? It’s like washing your clothes by hand. Ever tried that? Well I had to for several months once, not fun at all. So yes I actively like Windows.

Damn how didn’t I know this obvious trick. But then again when I grew up floppies were on their way out already and dirt cheap anyway.

Oh how I loved my 28kbit… He was making sounds like some alien insect, all clicks and clacks. Pretty stylish too, all black and blocky with red accents.
