You can’t gamble with dice?
You can’t gamble with dice?
Ok… but his thing can actually happen… your version of the bad things that can happen for still also posting news to twitter is all imaginary stuff that doesn’t happen in real life. Being upset about the direction Twitter and Reddit took and are taking is a totally valid, and honestly the objectively correct position to have about it. But adding in imaginary penalties for using it is not.
The whole point of the post is real gambling is rated as totally safe for kids. As long as it doesn’t use card or poker chips as imagery. Why is getting kids to actually gamble ok? Why is imagery associated with gambling so much worse than actual gambling for kids?
So then explain why games with actual real money gambling aren’t rated 18+, is gambling “imagery” with no gambling really that much worse than having actual gambling?
If your stated downside to still using Twitter is that it’s a waste of time, is that invalidated if your posting tool posts to all of your socials with one click? Like most professional social media users that have to maintain a bunch of channels with the same content?
Also, who is being dramatic about how important it is to be on or off twitter?
Just so anyone that had to suffer through this knows, the company that makes them, that you have to order them through, always makes sure to remind buyers that they will likely need at least 10% left handed ones too. Because, of course, they made left-handed ones. If your school didn’t have left-handed ones or didn’t have enough, that was a choice they made.
That sentiment they manufactured is exactly what I was, apparently inexpertly, lampooning.
I’m thinking I got a couple copies of the dna that makes these, and a dna gap of whatever was supposed to be next in line. My virtual copy of the world around me is detailed down to the milimeter, which, according to everyone else I know, is “not normal”. Comes in real handy when parking a car in a tight spot or cluttered garage. Or navigating a crowd while reading a book. But I definitely suck to a similar degree at lots of other things, lol.
My particular gaps and duplicates worked out to still be kind of useful, but I work with alot of people who got a different result from their grab bag of assorted dna sequencing mishaps. My job is basically to make sure they can still enjoy as many aspects of their life as possible, and luckily, that is pretty enjoyable for me.
Hehe yeah, “Sure, you could buy perfect diamonds grown in lab conditions that are way prettier than anything we could offer for way cheaper, or you could buy our authentically dirty or broken diamonds to -prove- you paid way more money to anyone that looks close enough to notice. Won’t they be jealous of how rich you were”.
If you just mean a steam controller as in The steam controller, it should already work. If you mean Vive or Valve VR controllers, then yeah. Or any of the meta touch controllers, those are everywhere at this point and easy to buy separately from a headset if you don’t already have some.
Edit: ah, most of my questions would of course have been answered by actually reading it…
Yeah, but kind of a weird choice for first pick. Already not alot of PSVR2, and even fewer that have bought the dongle to use it for PCVR… how much crossover is there with PSVR2 owners and Apple Vision owners? I don’t even think sony sells just PSVR2 controllers separately, though you’d have to hope something like this would finally change that.
Just weird when there are cheaper, more easily accessible and more widely manufactured options that can already be bought individually.
In the same vein
"Wha-wha wha-wha what do you want? Wha-wha wha-wha what do you want? Why do you keep touching me?
Daah buu daah buu"
The song from warcraft 1 or 2 or something.
I like when computer games used to have a hidden song. Especially when they made it so those songs would play if you put them in a cd player.
It also used to be a thing that some games would just have their sound track play if you put the disc in a cd player. An upside was that the music was all written to the first part of the disc, and the game data was written to the outer rings where it could be read faster on most drives for shorter install times.
Do you want axe? Except as “dyouwan tax?”
We like to use the Mandarin X pronunciation, for a popular example: Xiaomi is pronounced “Show Me”.
They are a very handy shoe when it comes time to clean them. Especially nice for jobs where that is every day, or multiple times a day. And honestly, despite being so cheap, they don’t lead to foot problems anywhere near as much as other shoes, even at twice the price.
They may not have much respect, but they are a useful shoe.
Hmm, that puts me at BRI of 2.1, and BMI of 35.4
Those both seem incredibly off.
But I do have extra dense bones apparently, which tends to be mostly what screws with my BMI, and my ability to float/swim. But they seem really hard to break, not that I try very hard… but none of them have broken yet. And I’ve been in situations that seem like they should have broken.
Either way, I weigh alot more than I look like I should, not quite “Wolverine getting on a motorbike”, but a bit like that.
Kinda makes me wish those “guess your weight” carnival experts were something I could see in real life, only ever seen it on TV.
Lol, my client apparently parses markdown in titles, so the hashtag at the start of this headline just made the headline giant.
Ah ok, they already have a built-in hand-wavey mechanic to explain it. That’s handy. Extrapolation from their inability to think creatively and only mimic, it seems like that would indeed set up for physical mimicry too. But that would probably get old fast, since it would have to be at the expense of gaining stuff naturally with levels. You’d either have to be trained everything you want to know, or have the DM set up encouters that makes sense for picking it up eventually. Maybe fun for the first couple levels, but just unnecessary tedium as it goes on.
Certainly makes more sense fun-wise to retcon the scope of the curse to a more limited handicap. Something that fits the scope of a single hardship slot.
Awesome, I love the idea of building a working library of dialogue to make use of. Technically mimicry would mean having no actual understanding of the phrases actual meaning so it would have to be coincidental to say something useful in context… but it would be such a fun mechanic I would find some way to hand-wave it into making sense.
Might also be fun to extend the mimicry to physical mimicry too. Maybe picking up something that you have seen X number of times. Though that would add even more data tracking, hehe.
I mean the kinds of gambling that might trigger someone with a gambling addiction. Isn’t that where you were coming from?
