A guy was drinking and eating people’s food at a job I had.

One day someone peed in a pepsi can and put it back in the fridge.

Later the guy comes out of the kitchen screaming he’s gonna punch whoever did that.

The Big boss comes out of his office and asks him why he drank someone else open can? And when he almost got calm the boss told him to leave and never come back, since he said he would hit someone and that taking sips out of others drinks was unsanitary.

It was soooo funny to see him leave in rage, hit the store sign and hurt himself doing so.

The guy who peed in the can was scared to lose his job. The boss told him “next time to come to me before taking drastic actions” and all was swell.

In the end it was a beautiful day!

Oh, but they will save money doing it right ?

I had a IoT device “lightbulb” that would trim any spaces left after the passkey, problem being I intentionally had a blank space at the end of my passkey. Took a while to realize till I counted the little stars hiding the recorded passkey.

Why don’t Americans get chickens and a small coop ? We have 4 chickens in the middle of town and produce more eggs than we can eat. We have to give some to neighbors and friends. We even cook excess for the dogs as treats sometimes.

I don’t have the same experience, for me it’s been quite rock solid for the past year or a little more. I have seen mabe two or three downtime for maintenance on lemme.ca and have used my other account on .world while it came back. So no real downtime given one server down does not mean all servers down. I have had wayyyy more issues with Reddit.

I have used “Connect” for most of the time and am currently trying out “Summit”. Both apps are great. I do like “Summit” a little more for now but have been using it for just 2 days.

I remember running Enlightenment as a DM for my pc long ago and loved it’s looks and animated splash screen. Back then I found other DM to be looking like old stuff trying to look like windows. But E was beautiful and smooth. Just not the most developed as a system management ( it was mostly just a DM and no proper system configuration tools ) I don’t know where it’s at now but I kind of miss the styling.

My friends high end sony system with square speakers (yeah I’m old) kept poping the speaker coils out of their sockets at 70% power. His 600$ sony dvd player would not play burned DVDs. My Phillips amp would power my realistic home made speakers up to 100% and they could still take a lot more (200W RMS amp and 275W designed speakers) and my weird named 65$ DVD would even play DIVX movies on burned DVDs. Fuck Sony.

What’s fumny to me is I remember watching a computer show on TV in late 90s they where interviewing an Adobe representative about the new Photoshop 5.0…

The TV host asked what adobe though about pirated copies and the representative said on LIVE TV that Photoshop price was for professional who make a living out of Photoshop and that any hobbyist had nothing to fear about using a pirated copy as it only served to get more people knowledgable about Photoshop and if these started doing business in photography and neede Photoshop they would then pay for it so to not be unprofessional.
