In the southern hemisphere? Summer.
It’s the best time of year, amazing weather, long days, warm nights.

Last two laptops over bought for family have been AMD. They’ve been brilliant.
IMHO Intel has eroded the last scrap of trust I had in them with the 14900K crap.
Prior to that was Intel’s refusal to release Vulcan support for an older generation of iGPU to compel upgrades to newer CPU’s (by buying an entire new laptop). So I did, an AMD one.
It had to be stigmatized before that to be applied to selfish people.
Good point. I suspect it was a plot point in Medical Drama #17 or Police Drama #12, thus was thoroughly misrepresented.
How do you cope with NPD?
Also, what kind of things can other people do to support someone with NPD?
It’s stigmatised because the term has entered common (mis)usage to describe people who are just selfish

It’s a way of projecting a tree structure into a table.
Was their apartment rent controlled?
Best complaint I heard was “it’s just mad max on water” .
WTF? That sounds awesome.
Fascist dichotomy: the “others” are both strong and weak at the same time.
Just like immigrants are both “lazy” and “taking all the jobs” at the same time.
Not necessarily them personally but previous generations of British colonialism really (deliberately) screwed over the indigenous people in my country in a multitude of ways.
Every descendant generation since has benefitted from that to the detriment of indigenous generations. I, and my children, benefit from it daily with superior schooling, housing, health, wealth, etc.
Even the smallest things (e.g. voting for progressive government, volunteering, learning the language and culture, advocacy) that I can do to helps mitigate some of that harm.
LOL I’m even a java developer.
That’s just kicking the can down the road.
Correct the mistakes of my ancestors.

From the little I’ve been reading Kent Overstreet just sounds like an incredibly arrogant developer with some talent.
It reeks of someone whose opinion of themselves exceeds their ability.
It is more that there’s a grift happening. What’s the odds that theres a tenuous conflict of interest here with the various business and executives concerned? It’s a small cub and everyone scratches each other backs.
It’s still a prestige brand in the eyes of the masses. It might not be as good a brag down at the country club, but letting the plebs know that you can afford a car that costs more than their house still has value.
Life, uh, finds a way.
