This format is the best. Especially for digital file names, because sorting the files by filename also sorts them by date.
I’ve messed around with this a bit and it’s really fun. Reminded me of making dumb “websites” in elementary school. https://hotglue.me/how
I mean, I get it. But it’s sad that folks have forgotten about simple shit like going outside, looking at plants, reading, drawing, thinking up puns, etc
One reverted edit and you’ve held a grudge for 20 years? Dude…
I love Wikipedia. I love reading it, I love the Wikimedia content, and I am a monthly donator. The daily email with the Featured Article/quote/etc is the first thing I read every morning.
As for editing, I fix little typos when I see them and leave a note on the talk page when I notice that a citation link is broken. And i read the Talk pages sometimes. Not too much beyond that.
Thanks for taking the time to type this all out. Wikipedia is awesome and probably the most cyberpunk/socialist/utopian website there is. I just think it’s so neat.
Big agree. Good Time turned me into a huge Pattinson fan.
I love that movie, and that fight scene, but damn you’re right.
Touche about the pointed tines, I hadn’t noticed that.
Imagine needing a flared end to keep the utensil from slipping out of your hamfisted mitts. #1 all day
#2 is classic. #5 has never let me down. But ive never understood how people use #7: shitty wobbly tip
You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait. Do not even wait, be quiet still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet. – Franz Kafka
Thanks for the in-depth info. Your cats have a wonderful home!
Go to a bike shop that has a device or some way of measuring your sit bones (ie. the distance between them.) They’re the two hard bits that should be contacting your saddle when you ride. The shop I went to had this bench with a gel layer so you could see where your sit bones were pressing down.
I used to think all saddles were uncomfortable until I realized I have a relatively wide distance between my sit bones. I bought a proper saddle for my ass and now I’m comfy all the time.
Probably hella grippy on packed snow, but that can’t feel good on bare pavement. Also if you take a spill, try and dodge the tires!
I see the classic format, I upvote.
I only miss Musicbee on Windows. I’ve created an offline Windows VM for that one single program.
I’d say go to a bike shop and try out some e-bikes. Find one that fits and that you enjoy riding, and start taking it for fun rides! I’d highly suggest a rack and some panniers (saddle bags) for carrying stuff - it makes it way easier to run errands and stuff via bike.
20 miles is a big bike commute, and riding on the edge of the highway isn’t super fun. But as others have said, maybe there are alternate routes. A 25 mile route through paths/side streets would be way more enjoyable than a highway shoulder.
Good luck on your biking endeavour! It’s a great addition to life.
