Thanks a ton for the answers!
I’m honestly unsure where my brain got the knife thing if I’m being honest.
One more question for you if you don’t mind -
How’s kevlar to work with?

How do you get into a job like that? I figured they would mostly be made by machines nowadays.
What’s the biggest sail you’ve worked on?
Best/worst material to work with?
What kind of equipment does your job require?
You mentioned a knife but I’m guessing it’s not a common knife. I’m imagining more of a hook shaped blade to pull easier, but would love to know if I was wrong
Mind if I bug you with questions about sail making? That sounds like a super interesting job!
Oh, I do travel through there. I hate it for many, many reasons
Louisiana is definitely low on the list, but Mississippi and Alabama are 1000% worse. It seems like those two constantly fight to be in last place
Apparently I’ll need to watch that soon!
Wait, is this live action Boimler?
Oh shit, it is!
if you aren’t loud and try to learn the language.
Well, that disqualifies an absolute ton of us
As someone trying to lose weight, please never ever release this. Please. I won’t make it.
50/50? Paul would easily get his ass kicked in a real fight against Carter!
They grouped up in telegram chats and started sending bomb threats to elementary schools
Sometimes less is really more
I’ll have you know I’ve never paid for Windows in my life!
And have to dig up even more earth using even more big machines? If you did a 50ft power line underground, that’s 50 ft of earth that has to be dug up, not to mention what happens whenever something inevitably goes wrong and you have to dig it all up again. Then you also have to bury transformers, which means you need to cool them.
There’s many, many good reasons that we use power lines over burying them. Mostly, power lines are so significantly cheaper and easier that it’s not even comparable. I’ve seen the bill when a buried fiber line gets broken. It is crazy expensive.
Damn, just call me out dude
Considering their recent lawsuit, them ripping off Minecraft is hilarious
I’ll have you know I know exactly how to install Linux and simply choose not to!
(I ran Ubuntu for 3 years)
I had a friend like this in college. His name was AJ. That’s it. Just the letters.
Everyone in the department spent ages trying to guess what it stood for. I managed to glance his ID when we got lunch together once. His name was just AJ. There weren’t even periods marking it as an abbreviation.
Still haven’t told anyone though
Yeah, but I think a droid with its miles of wire and circuits is far more impressive than a tech bro using chatgpt to build a front end for chat gpt
A kevlar allergy is definitely an interesting one!
I gotta ask what you mean by patches. Judging by the fact you seem to mostly work on racing ships and other very expensive sailing ships, I’m guessing you don’t mean patches in the sense of filler material to fix holes?
