My 17-year-old account is at $600. That’s an average of $35 per year.
Most of my gaming spending for the last 8 years has been on Nintendo Switch. That number is too embarrassing to post.
Yes. I use a FireFox extension called ViolentMonkey that allows you to install scripts.
There is a script called Simple YouTube Age Restriction Bypass: https://github.com/zerodytrash/Simple-YouTube-Age-Restriction-Bypass?tab=readme-ov-file
Install the script in Violent Monkey and you should be all set to watch age restricted videos in Firefox without signing in.
To be fair, plenty of telemetry is still being sent by Microsoft in Windows 10. It’s not as bad as 11 though.
The actual BAFTA article with the full list starts off by mentioning most influential game on popular culture, which is going to be different regionally. Shenmue may have been the most influential in Japan or the UK, but it sure didn’t have the effect on pop culture in the US that Mario, Zelda, or Minecraft has had, not even close.
Lol…that’s funny and also so depressing.
Well I’m hoping to live in a world where banks don’t provide loans anymore. I’m demanding a better world than this nightmare that is unregulated capitalism in the US.
I’m demanding a better world than any economic system that incentivizes and rewards screwing each other over and hurting one another in a race to get ahead.
Loans with interest rates above inflation are weapons. They are violence. Why should we all have to pay more than something is worth for our education, our transportation, our housing? Why are we paying directly for these things at all?
Government should be providing all this for its people. Higher education should be provided. Starter housing should be provided. Public transportation should be provided.
I don’t think there is anything stopping nintendo from making 64GB or larger cartridges except the cost.
Thank you for the clarification!
I still don’t like it.
So they essentially stuffed a download code into a physical cartridge to make people feel like they are getting something?
Isn’t that needless and wasteful? Isn’t it also going to trick unsuspecting people into buying something they think is a physical version of a game but isn’t?
I can’t tell if this is just Wizards of the Coast panicking and flailing because they are out of good ideas, or if they are actually carefully analyzing and re-evaluating older cards because the balance and synergy of the current cards allow for the use of these older cards without being game breaking.
I love stuff like this! I never had an NGage because the competing handhelds at the time were better. I’ve never even seen one in person.
Sounds interesting, thank you!
This is great because Nintendo charging $60 for Advance Wars Re-boot Camp on the Switch was way too high for me to consider it.
Why did you stay with it over Joplin? As a Joplin user, I am curious.
I second Joplin. I use it on Android and sync it locally (and only locally) with my Mac. It uses Markdown.
Not exactly, no. For instance, I don’t use the Google Play store (i use Aurora Store instead), but I have gotten Android Auto working on my phone. What Google features you’ll be able to get working also depend on the device and android version.
I guess it depends on if they are actually designing any of their own hardware. I was assuming they were, but now that you mention it, yeah why would they.
I’m so sorry you’re getting downvoted. The fact that your comment currently has more downvotes than upvotes – for making accurate statements and supporting feminism – reflects why women don’t stick around on Lemmy. I think it’s time for me to leave too; I don’t want to be part of a community where this many men are anti-feminist. These guys should really take a class on feminism, sex, and gender studies.
