What free healthcare?

I always assumed the “can’t find the clitoris” jokes we’re based in men ignoring the clitoris. Not that they literally could not find it. It’s like right there.

Growing up I wanted to be a mechanic. After I went to tech school and got into the field I learned how much of it was pushing shit on people even when it can wait or they can’t afford it. I got bitched at by my boss for trying to help someone prioritize what they actually needed vs “recommended services” on more than one occasion. I tried switching shops a few times but it was always the same thing so I completely lost my passion for it. I just work on my own car now.

yea i use discord for getting stuff from my phone to my PC. I keep all my notes in obisidan but I could never get it to sync right and it has since stopped working on my phone altogether.

Gonna have to wait a bit for those bitcoins.

At least I can still pay with the money I keep in my underpants.

Even with my phone cranked all the way up it still looks blue to me. I’ve never been able to see the white and gold version people claim exists.

The trick is to be so reliable that no one would conceive of getting rid of you even if you come off a little assholish sometimes. I started on the help desk at my last job (fairly large company with around ~25k employees and within a year or two I was the go to for a few of the c-levels when they had issues. I pissed off middle management types occasionally when I couldn’t do something they wanted right away because I needed more information or whatever and had to wait on something. Anytime they tried to start shit with me it never took long for a bigger fish to get involved and have my back because they were familiar with my work and knew I wasn’t just fucking around.

I’d be cool with discussing it afterwards. That kind of thing is really interesting to me. My dad doesn’t know shit about fuck though.

If it was me id host my shit on my own platform and post shorts on YouTube and everywhere else linking back to it. Being a content creator sounds like he’ll to me though so this is all hypothetical.

What’s wrong with it?

Had this happen recently. Turned out to be a stick that was wedged up into the hub and rubbing on the wheel. But then in the process of removing the stick I found that the wheel was fused to the brake drum and no amount of kicking or banging on it with a sledge would knock it loose. Waiting for a dry weekend to take a more aggressive approach to dealing with that problem…

My understanding is fusion360 only does some things in the cloud. It still runs locally. Otherwise they could have a web app I could use on my Linux desktop and not worry about it. I was using them side by side on two separate workstations (the one with FreeCAD actually has higher specs) and I wasn’t really trying to compare performance but when it’s that glaring of a difference it can’t just come down to hardware and like I said it wasn’t just “slower” it was completely unusuable. I tried FreeCAD on the system I use Fusion360 on as well with similar results to everything else I’ve tried it on.

What are you running FreeCAD on? I have tried it on 4-5 different systems and it has ran like shit on all of them. Like I don’t expect it to be perfect but it took 30-90 seconds to even respond when I try to do something. That’s completely unusable. I finished an entire (fairly simple) design I was working on in Fusion360 before I could even get 2 rectangles sketched out in FreeCad. I’d love to get it working because it’s one of my bigger hangups getting rid of windows.

If you call me with a request to do work or give me important information, I will tell you to text or email that to me.

Same I end every meeting where someone asks me to do something with a request for them to email me spelling it out. I don’t care if we covered all the ins and outs verbally and I already made notes, I want a paper trail of their expectations. The intention really being to train them that meeting first is a waste of time and they should just email me in the first place. If I don’t understand what you want I’ll set up a call.

I don’t see how anyone can look at those prices and not immediately cancel the transaction. Also the idea of some rando handling my food unsupervised is not appealing.

They’re saying their mental illness is to blame for their addiction to having fast food delivered and if you don’t think they are entitled to these services you are a bigot.

Yeah, I couldn’t even tell you what my background is. I used to have a slideshow of them.
