It would legitimately not surprise me at this point if Google starts serving precise bra ads to your girlfriend after discerning cup size from her nudes.

Yeah these have basically been ineffective for P2P such as torrenting for many years. The media companies can just outsource their Anti-Sharing campaigns to third parties and it is fairly trivial for them to do discovery from non-obvious or even residential IPs. They just have to open a given torrent long enough to see who is in swarm and start sending nastygrams to those ISPs.
The best way to protect yourself is seedbox/VPS in a jurisdiction with no filesharing enforcement, or at a minimum join a reputable private tracker, because then all participants are vetted and there will never be a snitch in swarm.
Did Tipper Gore get resurrected somehow? I thought she got banished to the shadow realm.
Does it run at 60 fps like the Perfect Dark recomp etc? I love playing these N64 recomps with quality of life improvements on the SteamDeck.
My money is on Fievel. After he went West, of course.
I think this game had the misfortune of launching right before OoT. It became a footnote after that because anyone with an N64 was understandably distracted by Zelda.
While you should do this to block your TVs telemetry and other undesirable behavior, realize that YouTube native TV app ads can’t be blocked at DNS level alone without also blocking the core functionality of YouTube, due to the way it serves the ads.
If you really need it to be secure and private, and are communicating mostly with known acquaintances within a reasonable radius, with low bandwidth requirements, LoRA with encryption is the best bet.
It is a higher bar of entry but at least you can be confident your messages won’t be intercepted in any useful form.
I am now of the opinion that you should just download books off indexing sites/IRC/ Usenet/torrents and if you like the book and want to support the author, buy a physical copy, or buy 2 and put one in a neighborhood free library. That maximizes the good you are doing and helps your community instead of just generating Bezos bux.
To answer your question, it could be legal grey area because not all pictures depicting nudity are automatically considered pornographic, if you are speaking in terms of legal precedent regarding obscenity in the US.
To further muddy the issue, photographing other peoples kids is considered creepy by nearly everyone but it isn’t expressly illegal unless certain localities have specific statutes against it. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy in public places, so you have the potential situation where people are doing a presumptively legal activity in a public area where photographing that activity could be illegal depending on… intent?
Further, the courts have ruled that getting naked in public in the act of protesting something is part of protected speech. Presumably that applies to people of all ages and sexes as well but I doubt it has ever been tested.
I bought the original on Steam sale about a year ago. Played 2-3 hours. Didn’t really feel hooked by the story or the gameplay. Graphics looked great to me on the SteamDeck.
Wife: “I bet he’s thinking about other women.”
Husband: “Marvel ‘nerds’ are now just normies.”
This sounds awesome. It uses the native YouTube app? Or YouTube in the TV web browser?
I pitched commemorative 9/11 Jenga (comes with 2 block towers) and people didn’t like that idea either.
Aix-en-Provence
POV you are walking down the street when you clip through the sidewalk and find yourself in the Backrooms.
I’m house Ryobi. I realize Ryobi is probably Hufflepuff (the “lame but at least not evil” one) in this scenario but so be it.
Funny. But the Trump impersonation sounds and looks more like Regis Philbin.
Superman 64.
Weeks and months of hype (the era of print gaming journalism), Blockbuster stocking 100 copies on launch day for “guaranteed availability” etc.
Then I finally popped the cart in, and this thing was so bad it just defied all logic. Horrific controls, shitty graphics, unclear user interface and objectives, terrible draw distance. Timed level segments and insane difficulty.
There might be “worse” games but I have never been more disappointed in a release than Superman 64.
If you have your VPN client and torrent application set up correctly, your traffic would all be routed through the VPN and the network would see your VPN IP and not the actual IP of your machine. If you have a private tracker you can probably test this on their site as many will show you which IP they see as you seed.
A few considerations with this- Some VPN services do not support or allow torrenting. Also some trackers have issues with you using multiple IPs etc. so your account could be flagged if you have used different VPN nodes over time.
