There are a few more detached panels of the story on !unix_surrealism@lemmy.sdf.org :)
AI_MINIUS, the bot on the left.
Pretty sure it’s a reference to how I can’t spell. OP is pulling a surrealism confusion card on you.
Yes, this is part of the Frontier series, a techno-mage spinoff.
My apologies, this of course takes place on the frontier of the Penguin Realm, where the local garrison faces immeasurable odds of corpo-barians and binary-blobians, while trying to expand the realm’s border. To support these endeavors, the Penguin command sends reinforcements made up of foxes. One Penguin is particularly distraught, seeing one of the warriors is wearing a penguin skin on its helmet.
Hope this helped.
I’m not, it was a lucky coincidence. You aren’t the first to notice it. Red was a member of the ARCH_COMPANY, as seen in the yet unfinished prequel to Techno-Mage: https://lemmy.sdf.org/post/2949801 (or here with a few extra pages: https://analognowhere.com/techno-mage/arch_company/ )
I take it you never encountered recursion when running a live distro off a floppy to manage the network of your farm?
where do your thoughts come from?
I hope you didn’t have much trouble recognizing the characters in the last techno-mage comic… but then, robes aren’t really hats, right?
shooting dice, but yeah!

Not sure if you know, but you can setup links to pipe images (and whatever other media you want) to external programs through the Associations menu.
Afterwards pressing Enter or I when an image is selected, a new option “open” will appear.
