Does your SD card reader itself show up in lsusb? Does anything extra show up in /dev when plugging it in? It may be that there’s no partitions on the drive, so you don’t see any storage. Could also be either your reader or card not working, however. It would help to get another reader or card to test if your reader or card work.

These are really well made, no webgl in some games, no html5 canvas, just good code.

This website is terrible lol. It’s just fear mongering. It makes up shit when it can’t tell what’s happening. The way it gets all the info about the photos is just metadata(exif, etc). It doesn’t recognize people in photos if they aren’t the main subject. It also thinks that it’s always a close up photo.

If you disagree with their TOS or opinions, you should join a different instance. This is the good thing about the fediverse.

I’m one of the only users on this instance besides it’s admin, and sometimes neither of us use it for a week or so. Certainly not dead, but just temporarily abandoned. I’d say after a month of no posts or comments it is nearing dead, and 2 months it’s actively dead.

Highly unlikely, I assume you are nervous after the xz backdoor, but that is almost one of a kind. I couldn’t find any other examples of something like that happening.

Sorry, where is the backdoor? This is all official arch repos, and nothing even appears sketchy.

I’d guess the updates would be about the same on a stable distro, this was a very cluttered install.

Both of them combined only take about 1 inch of vertical space, so it’s not that big in real life.

Only issue with this update was a maintainer’s keyring had expired and been replaced, so his packages didn’t pass the signing check. After re-installing the keyring, the whole think works fine.

Probably should, but this machine is already cluttered terribly. A good bit of the download size is likely Pytorch files.

I try but don’t always succeed. In my main laptop, I have all misc files in the downloads folder, photos in photos, documents(pdfs, writer, math) and videos/movies in videos.
