Imo its just a different thing.

Like, 1 or 2 here with sort of moving images like memories, sounds, conversations.

I still listen to interviews despite being able to make up convos in my head. I watch comedy despite being able to make up jokes and funny stories.

I watch movies despite being able to visualise whatever i want.

When i zone out, i can have full conversations with people ive never met in my mind while walking to work.

Basically flying blind through traffic, unless something relevant registers on my “conscious” mind.

Its about the ability to visualize things in your mind.

Yeah tbh there would be no harm in banning them. If you need a work truck, those are fine. No person in the world needs an SUV or an oversized pickup truck

A more fitting comparison would be ostracising someone for their faith vs insisting to misgender someone despite better knowledge.

Forcing religious values down other ppls throats is trying to dictate their life.

“forcing” aka asking to be referred to with certain pronouns is asking to have your own life respected.

One is about having your beliefs respected, the other is demanding others to act as if they were part of your faith no matter if they believe or care.

I don’t mind them doing their thing at home, but I could do without them shoving their lifestyle in everybody’s face in public.

So my solution would be to make a dedicated account, purchase a license on there, and hand it over completely to someone in charge at the facility.

If they don’t have someone who can take care of that for whatever reason, still make a dedicated account and restict apps/access rights via parental controls etc

I’d argue it’s less about personal pleasure of the act and more about driving votes by perpetuating an agenda that keeps the lower classes kicking down.

Posturing to be working hard on a solution. One that drives well with far right voters who hate foreigners.

The alternative of working on the cause instead of the symptom would put pressure on wealthy business owners and look like overreach to those voters.

I wanna add, that these niche hobby servers do have a higher risk of dropping permanently if the owner decides they don’t enjoy it. No a real reason not to use them but good to know regardless.
