With super cheap SSD’s and motherboards with multiple m.2 slots, there’s rarely an excuse not to have different drives anymore. Laptops might be an exception.

Recently getting back into Linux, it’s like choose your own adventure in computing. It’s been fun.
Them killing my ability to have the task bar moved to the top of the screen has pushed me over the edge. I’ve been a Linux fiddler for decades, now I’m going to try full time.
This just reminds me of my first experience with Linux in the late 90’s. Yes they had installers that got the base system working, but then you had to compile so much.
Isn’t that somewhat the point of the federated system? Prevent censorship? Enable various points of view to have a platform? It’s somewhat up to the moderators of the groups and the community as a whole to determine what information is allowed on their local platforms.
On the internet, almost without fail, a few bad apples exist. And sometimes the bad apples really yell the loudest.
But not having an algorithm amplifying the bad apples is about the best we can hope for now.
At work I’ll have like 20+ tabs open and I eventually am like F it, close everything and start over. Usually feels good.
