I’ve only lived in one apartment my whole life, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Less need to interact means less interaction.

I live in a small building with few units. My neighbors and I get along great, although they’re much more eager to socialize than I am. I don’t really mind, but still.
“literally unusable” is a common tech meme about people blowing tiny bugs out of proportion. You see it pretty commonly in video game discussions (like “literally unplayable”) when there’s tiny amounts of texture clipping or text alignment is barely off.
Good addictions, though? Set yourself up for success, get a few of those.
I used to have a college professor who would always laugh at his own jokes. Always. His class only laughed maybe half the time. I didn’t mind much because he was a cool guy in general.
Nope! You don’t have to pay a cent to the Catholic Church to receive communion.
7 Days to Die has a terrible problem with the devs not knowing what they want to do with the game. All they know is that the players are doing it wrong.
Here’s the article. According to the story, there were two people panhandling and using drugs; they were asked to leave. One threw a rock at the employee’s car window, shattering it, and then threatened to shoot him. The video also says the person was shot because he lunged at the employee. I hope the truth comes out and the situation is handled appropriately.
I especially like that, despite the fact that you’re the supposed hero, every shot of your hand shows what appears to be a scaly monster’s hand. It makes you wonder who - or what - you really are…
What do you want, Mr. Ghost? Do you want us to stop making new technology and simply use what already exists, consuming more power and time than is necessary? Do you not want people to be free to buy what they want with their own money? The singularity people are stupid, but don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
One of my closest friends nearly committed suicide because of how miserable Walmart made his life.
I mean, if a guy posted the same stuff about Joe Biden, tried to break into the White House with a pistol, but was stopped before he could pull the trigger, would you call that an assassination attempt? I sure would - he wanted to kill the guy so he went there to do the deed. What other reason would someone have to hide in the bushes on someone else’s property with a gun for 12 hours?
Dude was apparently waiting in the bushes for 12 hours. You don’t do that if you’re not waiting for someone or something. The Second Amendment doesn’t give you the right to camp out on someone else’s property with a gun.
I mean, capitalism is silent on the matter as well.
North Korea: Such a great nation, there’s no need or ability to ever leave.
Fedora on the other side of the world and the other day is a good time to go to the gym.
Maybe the real accessibility advocacy was the friends we made along the way.
I’m 99% sure that they’re joking.
This reminds me of that chart showing gun deaths over a few years that showed the line going down the more deaths there were. That made sense graphically, they colored it in to look like blood dripping down, but this is just dumb.
Call of Duty 1 was the first violent game my mom let me play. Good times.
