The US is at least 40 years removed from any kind of real electronics manufacturing at scale.

This kind of thing takes generational knowledge to get right and we outsourced that knowledge a long time ago.

We are now several generations from being able to manufacture electronics on the level.

It’s the color palette. It’s genuinely terrible. The pixel art itself looks pretty good but those colours just kill it.

Ehh it kinda does considering you can get a pretty full compiler tool chain running via termux.

It would be pretty trivial for YouTube to change the hashes at random. Might require a clever caching workaround on their end but it’s totally possible to just flip a few bits before serving it.
