He is still drawing. Although retired, he recently got a tablet and has been experimenting with it, so he puts out new comics on his website every so often when the mood strikes him.
That’s insane. Why would someone post old comics with modern dates? Why not just post the original date, unless they were trying to be deceptive? We already know what today’s date is. Truly bizarre.

Take a look through all the old posts. They all just have the day’s date on them.

I think they’re posted on the website with today’s date as the title.
I’ve complained about the same thing, this is just the title of the page on the website that gets filled into Lemmy when posting.
OP is just republishing the comics of the day published on the official Far Side website.
