I normally don’t really drink energy/caffeine drinks. But I won’t deny I remember liking the taste of original monster.

Once in a while no, won’t cause harm. But if you don’t drink caffeine you may feel the hit of an energy drink strongly. This varies from person to person but you can feel shaky or your heart beating faster etc.

From my perspective that’s the best part of it. I don’t ever drink coffee and only once or twice a year - if I’m going on a long road trip - I drink one energy drink. As far as I know they have a much lower dose in Europe (20 mg caffeine per 100 ml drink) compared to the US but still it has an immense effect to keep me awake etc.

The maximum allowed in Denmark at least is 32mg/100ml so that seems to be what most of them target here.

Friend gave me one of those pre-workout energy drinks and it got opened so I didn’t want to let it go to waste. Effect was “I can’t sleep and I’m angry”
