As always, I have to say that I did not censor it in the vain hope that people won’t complain about it being censored anyway.

And yes, I don’t get censoring ‘fuck’ but showing an ass either.

    yeah this is probably correct. Back in the day platforms would just tell you outright “you’re not allowed to say this” and prevent you from posting, but nowadays posts that violate some unspoken rule just get shadow-removed with no indication of what you did wrong. Reddit, for example, shadow-removes any comment that links to a website ending with .ru and silently blocks any chat message containing the spanish word for “black”. Youtube will demote comments and demonetize videos that contain any reference to nazis, even if its from a purely historical perspective. In response to this bullshit, netizens are developing a self-censor habbit to obfuscate anything that looks remotely unmonetizeable. It’s like l337sp34k all over again.
