For more then thousand years you who are Ea-nāṣir will be forgotten, but then during a time when language transcends the world we know and the people can communicate freely to any at any point of time without relying on a messenger, and the ways people expresse their ideas transcend the use of words and blends with the world of art. You will be become remembered.

The wise men will discover our history and you will be noted amongst us. Your name will be known to them and the existence of your person will become a meme, a sacred expression of their language.

And the meaning of your name will be that of shitty copper and the spirit of your person will be that of the worst of merchants.

Ea-nāṣir, a trader, sold sub-standard copper to a customer their scriptures will say. And this is the truth, so will it be.

Tbf, the Guy kept Nanni’s letter of complaint intact in his home, he might’ve been kind of a troll. He might laugh at the idea that people millenias from then laugh at Nanni’s frustration as he perhaps did himself. As to whether our perception of himself would bother him… Well, he might be the worst copper trader we’ve ever heard off… But we’ve heard of him!

I didn’t realize that Ea-nasir had tablets in his home of other customers complaining about his sub-standard copper, lmao. This dude was a straight-up scammer.

Simple: “the gods have made it known that your descendants are pleased with your work, and your eye for quality is known throughout the aether among all spirits now and yet to come.”

That should about sum it up.

Someone uploaded German POW stories onto YouTube that I was listening to. Some prisoners (in France I believe) forged “gold” rings from copper and then sold them to the guards in the middle of the night for food. Guards couldn’t tell at night.
