Let’s be honest, Obi-Wan wouldn’t stand a chance in this fight. His only two advantages against Anakin in their duel were emotional stability and Soresu, and even then Anakin was forcing him back all the way to the lava riverbanks.
Anakin would probably refuse to kill his old master, though.Yeah, but with the high ground…
I think you are underestimating Anakins power!
He shouldn’t try it
100% would cut off his hand though
Absolutely. Anakin is the #1 user of Dooku’s patented “steal yo arms” technique.
K, why does Anakin look incredibly sexy in the final shot?
It’s the eyelashes and sort of eyeliner look that isn’t as common on men. Gives him a slightly feminine feel. Also you might be bi or gay.
“Might be gay”
HAH… I am indeed quite gay, respected gentleperson
That’s crazy that this is how you found out. Congrats!
Because Anakin is a sexy mofo.
Not in live action. He’s a whiny little bitch there
Weird way to spell Obi-Wan
When doesn’t he?
This made me realize I haven’t seen any alternative/parallel dimension stuff done in any Star Wars thing. Be sweet to see a universe where Luke and Obi Wan are evil and Darth Vader and the Emperor are the heroes.
Damn, a lot of dark shit must have happened to him to turn him to the dark side. Canonically, Obi-Wan is probably one of the most “jedi” Jedis, even his fighting style Soresu is almost exclusively defensive
Obi-Wan is a self-contained dichotomy. He’s simultaneously very lax with applying the rules to his apprentice, in a similar way to Qui-Gon Jinn, but also incredibly strict with following the will of the council, even above the Will of the Force.
As someone running a soresu based jedi in a ttrpg, there’s a lot of times I get real frustrated not having a solid high damage finisher, which does lead to dark thoughts soooo.
Yeah, I mean, maybe in this scenario Qui-Gon didn’t die and took Anakin as a second apprentice so that Obi-Wan would be constantly frustrated by being upstaged by that “kid” who is naturally stronger in the force, which will lead to his downfall. His final act of turning would be killing Qui-Gon. Although the Emperor wanted Anakin as his apprentice, he wouldn’t be able to turn him and take Obi-Wan as a consolation price, still managing to establish the Empire with Order 66.
It could definitely make sense. He kills Maul leading Palpatine to scout him out for his talent.
And if Maul returns like in TCW, Palpantine would definitely use it as an opportunity to pit his apprentices against each other since they’re more closely connected that Anakin and Maul. He’d absolutely leverage Satine’s death the same way he leveraged Anakin’s fear for Padme.
The next question then, in this universe where Qui-Gon lives, does Dooku remain a jedi? That would lead to very different outcomes.
A lot of dark shit DID happen to Obi Wan.
Nice one, who’s the artist?
Reevesartisse, I’ll put it in the title
Using two accounts to post and comment really confused me for a sec OP haha
The magic of the fediverse 😘👌
Heh, Kbin is having some teething troubles at the moment.
Thanks!
This better not awaken anything in me.
I want a Star Wars What If…? series so badly.
What if… the Holiday Special was canon?
Do you REALLY want canonical wookie porn?
Only if it is filmed entirely in Shyriiwook.
I have never been more serious in my life.
Yes.
The Mando series canonized it in the first episode.
BEATRICE ARTHUR IS CANON.
They made three
You were like a father to me obi-wan. Don’t go where I cannot follow.
