I can think of another 3 letter word, and it rhymes, that would make this even sadder.
There is a German punk song “Wir scheißen auf Karriere” (we give a shit about career) saying “Zum pinkeln und zum sterben ist die Frühstückspause da” (for peeing and for dying, there is the breakfast break)
