Britain actually convicts on counts of libel for holocaust denial (see historian David Irving). They have laws on incitement to hatred and offensive communication that are used should one post a story that mentions holocaust denial (see Allison Chabloz).
My point still stands. Seeing all those countries with laws like this could make a reasonable person suspicious.
It’s not illegal in most of Europe. If you say it in most of Europe in polite company you’ll get punched most likely, but you won’t get arrested.
