I feel this would fit better under either Bone Hurting Juice or Speed of Lobsters. Idk if we have any communities like that here yet.

I’m not a native english speaker. Maybe that’s why I struggle to capture the meaning of a single long sentence. Can someone explain this?

I am a native English speaker and don’t believe your reading comprehension is to blame here.

It seems as though the OP saw an Amazon review entitled “Run pant” and envisioned the following scenario:

      • you are at an odd race in which articles of clothing such as hats, pants, shirts, etc. are competing to determine which clothing item is the best as defined by the winner of the race
      • you are attending as a supporter of pant(s)
      • the race starts but no clothing starts running (ie, all articles remain still and do not engage in the competition)
      • in support of pant(s), you shout the title of the review (“run, pant!”) in the hopes that pants start running first and win the race.

      It’s a thinker for sure.

Edit: on re reading, it sounds like all clothing except for pants started running at the beginning of the race, so you are trying to encourage the pants to participate, despite their apparent reluctance. They are your favorite, after all.
