Leftists bodyshaming men to criticize their fascism is some real regressive shit. It’s also super off-the-mark. Bodyshaming harms all men, not just the fascists.

          Agreeing with you.

Justifying bodyshaming is just like justified racism - it’s not the right tool and shows that not doing it is conditional and that you are like that and only not, just to be seen as nice. It literally means you’re a shitty person who is just being politically correct to not be be seen as politically incorrect.

It literally means that you are a terrible person deep down inside, and are only not that way outwardly to get karma points. You have learned nothing. Forever a padawan, shrouded in manipulative behavior to get what you want.

          Performative, small trash.

          Disgusting and pathetic.

          Shame.

bro women or gay men don’t care if your penis is small, only toxic men care about that

if you are really offended by this then you should ask yourself why exactly

“Bro” I am a gay man. I love small penises. This post is reinforcing stigma around small penises, by associating them with white nationalism.

It’s weird to make jokes about them. People don’t need to make up for having a small penis, because it’s not a flaw, so there is literally no basis for this joke other than toxic masculinity.

I am a size queen. I also recognize that there are all kinds of different people out there and that there is no shame in having a small pp. Sometimes, even for me, they’re sexy and great fun.

Post is problematic and people iit defending contextual toxicity are children to me. Some of them are quite petulant and are doubling down on their toxicity and showing it.

I highly doubt that the Cyanide and Happiness creators would label themselves as leftists, even in the watered-down US understanding of the term.

They’ve always been very happy to be openly offensive to the point of misogyny/ableism/toxic masculinity in their art - not typical earmarks of a leftist.

      P. S. I don’t really have beef with c&h, the whole “where not [label] because we insult everyone” just doesn’t really ring true for me when it’s four wealthy white dudes ‘punching down’ often. Or two ultra rich white dudes like Matt & Trey of South Park. Funny sometimes - but you’re still a dick when you punch down on communities you’re not part of and you don’t really know.

That’s a good point, and explains the existence of this comic. They’re anti-WN but still have some regressive attitudes.

I’d argue it’s less regressive and more preemptive. I’m a strong believer that people can grow and be better at any age.

Even Nazis. However, the energy and time and resources and risks to do so for THEM is almost never worth it for the small glimmer of a chance, which is why the saying is “the only good Nazi…”, because to get there, it’s so far evolved in that direction, you’re so far corrupted, that it takes a Herculean effort to bring you back to a functional society.

Like, it’s kind of like deep depression, honestly. The stark fundamental differences and the effects and risks, though, are why, ethically, we, generally, treat depression and eliminate Nazis. Not always. Not in every circumstance. But we must at least say so, specifically, due to the nature of each.

A wild, rouge thought appeared just now: what if we flipped that? What if we threatened to kill depressed people and preached treating nazism? …Fascinating. I do have more thinking to do.
